Pooches in Bangkok have started jumping into the pool for quite obvious reason... to learn swimming. Actually more than half of the Bangkok’s pooch population is obese. So to lose those extra pounds, they are taking their swimming sessions.

Bangkok’s hot weather forces pooch lovers to generally keep their pets (specially European Pedigree breeds) indoors and air-conditioned. Besides, the affluent pet parents pamper their pets with treats and chews, which makes them obese. And a weekly swim in the special doggie pool is all what they need to battle the bulge!

v Neighbours troubling pets...dial 100!

Pedigree or pariahs... they are always loving, but it’s really disheartening to see them in trouble. No more worries, friends...as the recent judgment by additional chief metropolitan magistrate Kamini Lau ensures legal protection to our furry friends. A resident of Delhi had adopted two pets - Badam and Daisy, under MCD’s ABC programme. Soon, her neighbours started bothering these innocent angels with regular thrashes and kicks. On opposing, the lady was even threatened of dire consequences. But true pooch lover can never bow to such heinous wishes, so she filed a complaint and won legal protection for all our pariahs from the court. Now that sounds great. Kudos, Kamini Lau!

Animals are not

mute creatures anymore, we are here to voice their feelings now.
